Whether it was growing up on the family vineyard, hosting tours at our winery, or traveling all over the United States giving wine tastings, I’ve noticed that too often people are needlessly intimidated by wine. I've always felt that it's not about what you're drinking but whether or not you're enjoying it.

In producing Wine Ways, An Introduction to the Culture of Wine, I wanted to share the world of wine that I know, which isn’t about buying the most expensive bottle on the list. It’s about friends and family coming together to enjoy wine and celebrate all that goes into producing that bottle before it ends up on your table.
